Dr. Montgomery received the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources "Excellence in Teaching - New Teacher Award." This award acknowledges Dr. Montgomery's commitment to teaching and is a special commendation provided at the rank of assistant professor. The award was presented by Associate Dean Millenbah at Spring Commencement.
